The female kavatender poured a half foam kratom soda said I’ll fill it up once it settles down… so I wait five minutes my buddy joined me and the bar was left unattended for like 20 minutes. I finally walk around to see the worker chatting outside sitting on a couch. Several other customers walked up and walked away as well since nobody was at the bar serving. My friend then gets served also a half foam filled kratom soda and no apologies for disappearing or the poor pour. Sad that I have had plenty of good experiences there with other kavatenders. Both my friend and I agreed we will be taking a break from this venue

My go-to place to hang out and do a bit of daytime work. I am not a kava or kratom drinker, but the coffee is fantastic (locally sourced rather than generic coffee such as Kahwa), a great variety of hot and cold teas, and let's not forget their amazing rotating kombucha from the local Beech Kombucha. The vibe is laid back and extremely friendly. Bring friends and enjoy the indoors swinging benches or the outdoor area on a beautiful day.

Liz is the heart and soul of Steep. From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel like family. She remembers regulars by name and already knows your order before you even open your mouth — that kind of personal touch is rare and it means everything. She goes above and beyond every single visit, and the atmosphere she creates keeps people coming back. Steep Station is a great kava bar, but honestly Liz is what makes it a great *place*. If you haven't been, go — and ask for Liz. You'll see exactly what I mean.

Most unique kava bar we’ve been to! It was a busy Tuesday night with fire spinning and a few vendors outside (shout-out to the fire spinner whose hair caught fire but he kept going lol). DJ inside with lots of people dancing- infectiously good vibes, and unique beats. Tim, who served us, definitely gives each guest his undivided attention. We did wait a while at the bar, but when he got to us he was wonderful- we’re in the industry and he did a shell with us. I will never complain about a wait when the employee is genuine and doesn’t make you feel rushed. The prices are incredible- we live in Key West where they’re double, and the east coast is pricier too. We’re still on the hunt for a kava bar we can sit down and talk to locals at, but this psychedelic late-night spot was really cool and everyone was having a great time. We’ll see if we can get recommendations from locals during the day before we leave town. I love that there were so many different nooks and seating options, and the decor is amazing. The smaller bar slab attached to the main bar, with cup holders, is an awesome idea I’ve never seen before. The sticker/magnet/shirt vendor outside (I forget her name) was SO sweet,

This shop has an immaculate atmosphere, a welcoming staff and friendly crowd. They put a lot of time and attention into making sure their drinks are all as good as they can possibly be and that is very apparent with anything you order.
